Key responsibilities include:
- Manage residential construction projects from site establishment through to practical completion
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades to maximise productivity and site performance
- Develop and manage construction programmes, labour allocation and material scheduling
- Monitor workmanship through regular quality inspections and proactively resolve site issues
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and consultants, maintaining strong relationships throughout the construction process
- Manage site budgets, monitor project costs and assist with financial control
- Maintain accurate site documentation including daily diaries, progress reporting and variations
- Ensure all works comply with WHS legislation, company policies and Australian building standards
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing high-end residential construction projects
- Proven experience delivering architecturally designed homes from commencement through to completion
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Excellent understanding of residential construction methodology, sequencing and quality control
- Experience using construction management software and project management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage programme, budget and multiple stakeholders
- Confident communicator with exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Builder's Licence or equivalent construction qualification highly regarded
