An excellent opportunity is available for a hands-on HVAC professional to join a well-established and growing mechanical services contractor delivering commercial HVAC installation projects across Sydney.

This business has built a strong reputation within the commercial construction sector and works on a diverse range of fit-out, refurbishment and mechanical services projects for major builders, property groups and commercial clients. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to add a motivated Site Supervisor to their Projects team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on Site Supervisor position where you will remain actively involved in installation works while leading crews and coordinating day-to-day site activities.

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising commercial HVAC installations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Projects are primarily commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and mechanical services upgrades across Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects on site
• Remain hands-on and actively involved in installation works
• Supervise technicians, apprentices and subcontractors
• Coordinate daily site activities and labour requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain site safety standards
• Liaise with Project Managers, builders and other trades
• Monitor quality, progress and project delivery
• Assist with commissioning and project handovers

About You

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• White Card and Driver's Licence
• Strong commercial HVAC installation experience
• Previous Leading Hand, Supervisor or Senior Installer experience
• Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Safety-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving

• Commercial fit-out and refurbishment experience
• Mechanical services project experience
• Commissioning experience
• Working at Heights, EWP and/or Confined Space tickets
• Experience working with major builders or Tier 1 projects
