About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with engineering design and delivering technically challenging projects.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Intermediate Engineer ready to take on more responsibility, or an established Senior Engineer who wants to remain technically focused rather than move into management.
You'll be involved in:
- Electrical building services design across major multidisciplinary projects.
- Developing designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Working closely with mechanical, structural and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinating electrical designs and resolving technical challenges.
- Supporting projects through design development and delivery.
- Working alongside experienced engineers on complex, high-profile projects.
We're particularly interested in engineers who have:
- A background in electrical building services design within an engineering consultancy.
- Experience working on larger, technically complex projects, ideally within a Tier 1 or major multidisciplinary consultancy.
- Strong hands-on electrical design capability and sound technical knowledge.
- Experience coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
- The ability to take ownership of design tasks and deliver work with a good level of independence.
- An electrical engineering qualification.
Applicants must hold Australian permanent residency, citizenship or unrestricted working rights without requiring sponsorship, due to project requirements.
