- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Foreman, Supervisor or Site Manager within the Australian electrical construction industry.
- Proven experience supervising HV & LV electrical installations on major commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience on hospital, healthcare or other large-scale construction projects highly regarded.
- Strong technical understanding of HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, switchboards, power distribution and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Experience managing electrical tradespeople, Leading Hands and subcontractors on large construction sites.
- Ability to interpret HV & LV electrical drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methodologies, site programming and project delivery.
- Experience coordinating electrical works with builders, engineers, consultants and other trades.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards, WHS regulations and HV/LV safety requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- NSW Electrical Licence and relevant HV training, authorisations or qualifications highly regarded.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of HV & LV electrical construction works on a major hospital project in Sydney's Inner West.
- Supervise electrical tradespeople, Leading Hands and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to project specifications.
- Coordinate installations across HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, main switchboards, power distribution, cable containment and associated electrical services.
- Manage site programming, labour allocation, material requirements and subcontractor activities.
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, builders and other trades to ensure electrical works align with the construction program.
- Review HV & LV drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
- Coordinate HV-related activities with appropriately authorised personnel, including isolations, testing, commissioning and energisation.
- Monitor site progress, productivity, quality assurance and project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, electrical safety procedures, SWMS and relevant Australian Standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, installation challenges and site coordination conflicts.
- Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and final project handover.
