The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join the Brisbane team, delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects up to $15M.
This is an opportunity to join a growing business with strong values, an impressive project portfolio and a genuine focus on delivering quality outcomes for its clients.
You will take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team.
You will be provided the opportunity to develop into the 2IC for the QLD business.
Key Duties
- Develop and manage construction programs and procurement schedules
- Manage the procurement of materials and subcontractors in conjunction with the project team
- Ensure projects are delivered in full compliance with WHS requirements
- Develop and maintain project quality plans and ensure required standards are maintained
- Attend and lead weekly site and project meetings
- Prepare regular project reports and provide formal project updates
- Manage client, consultant and subcontractor relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and resolve project issues, risks and challenges as they arise
- Maintain strong attention to detail across project delivery, documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years' experience as a Project Manager within the fit-out and refurbishment industry
- Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, ideally in the $3M–$5M range
- Experience across Commercial, Retail or Hospitality projects
- Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification with further industry education
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Dynamic, passionate and team-oriented approach
- Experience with Procore is highly regarded
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving
