This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating machinery while also getting involved with general civil and site works. You’ll be working alongside experienced trades and construction crews across a variety of projects, with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right person.

- Operating excavators and other mobile plant across commercial construction sites
- Excavation, trenching, backfilling and site preparation
- Assisting with plumbing and underground services works
- General labouring and site support when required
- Loading, moving and positioning materials
- Carrying out daily plant checks and basic equipment maintenance
- Working safely around other trades, plant and underground services
- Following site plans, instructions and safety procedures
- Excavator – small to mid-sized
- Backhoe
- Skid Steer
- MR Licence or greater
- White Card
- Previous experience operating plant on civil, construction or plumbing projects
- Confident operating machinery in a busy site environment
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get involved with general site duties
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience around underground services would be highly regarded
