About the Role
We are seeking experienced Crane & Plant Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of equipment, including telehandlers, plant equipment, mobile cranes and crawler cranes.
Candidates from a Plant, Heavy Diesel, Earthmoving or Auto Electrical background will also be considered, with full training provided on the equipment and OEM products.
The role offers genuine long-term progression, with opportunities to move into Product Support, Technical Support and Management positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance and repairs of telehandlers, mobile cranes and crawler cranes
- Fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Carry out inspections and repairs to heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and auto electrical systems
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Work safely and in accordance with site and company requirements
- Attend customer sites and provide technical support when required
- Experience as a Plant Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Crane Technician or Auto Electrician
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on heavy machinery or plant
- Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
- Current Driver Licence
- Strong commitment to safety
- Crane experience is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided
- $50–$65 per hour + Super – DOE
- OEM training and ongoing technical development
