Step into an HVAC Project Engineer role with a well-established Queensland mechanical services contractor, where Morson Edge is partnering with the business to appoint a key member of their engineering and project delivery team.
You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, working on a range of commercial and industrial HVAC projects. This role will suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer who enjoys combining technical engineering with project management and client interaction.

What you'll be doing

• Design and coordinate HVAC systems in line with relevant standards and project requirements
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and delivery
• Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
• Conduct site visits, inspections and assess project requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project staff
• Prepare detailed project documentation, reports and client presentations
• Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard

Skills & experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience within the HVAC industry
• Previous experience managing HVAC projects from design through to delivery
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, standards and regulations
• Experience with relevant HVAC design software and engineering tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of health and safety requirements across HVAC projects
• Full Australian work rights required
