Location: Hazelmere, WA

Join a leading national transport and heavy vehicle company supporting civil, construction, and freight operations across Australia. We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to service, maintain, repair, and diagnose faults across a fleet of prime movers, heavy trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment.
This role involves workshop service work, carrying out diagnostics and scheduled maintenance, and ensuring vehicles remain compliant, safe, and operational.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, repair, and diagnose faults on heavy trucks, prime movers, trailers, and diesel equipment
  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, engine, braking, and suspension diagnostics
  • Use diagnostic software and scan tools to identify and rectify faults efficiently
  • Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs on client sites and roadside locations
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
  • Complete repair documentation, service reports, and parts requests
  • Ensure all work is completed to OEM, compliance, and safety standards
What You’ll Need
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience working on Heavy Trucks, Prime Movers, or Trailers
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience using OEM diagnostic tools and software highly regarded
  • Current Driver’s Licence – Essential
  • HR Licence highly regarded
  • Ability to work autonomously in workshop and field environments
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
