About the Role
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide technical support across automation, process control and electrical systems, ensuring plant reliability, performance and compliance with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for automation and process control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system and instrumentation issues
- Support maintenance, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with system optimisation to improve plant reliability and performance
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operation
- Contribute to engineering studies, investigations and project delivery activities
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in Automation & Controls and/or Process Control Systems
- Previous experience within the Power Generation industry
- Exposure to coal-fired power stations highly regarded
- Experience with Siemens PLC systems will be highly advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a complex industrial environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
