About the Role:

This is a hands-on WHS role supporting both office and project-based operations. You will work closely with site teams, supervisors, and senior leaders to ensure WHS compliance is maintained across all projects while actively contributing to the improvement of safety systems and culture.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to operations, spending time on site, and providing practical, solutions-focused safety support across multiple projects.

Travel to project sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of WHS systems across multiple sites and projects
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Support the development and review of SWMS, safety documentation, and site safety plans
  • Work closely with supervisors and project teams to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and procedures
  • Assist in injury management and return-to-work processes where required
  • Deliver WHS inductions, toolbox talks, and on-site safety support
  • Maintain accurate WHS records, registers, and reporting systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across safety systems and processes
  • Support compliance with environmental and quality requirements where applicable
To Be Successful:
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or working towards)
  • Experience in a WHS Coordinator, Advisor, or site-based safety role
  • Background in construction, civil infrastructure, engineering, or similar industries
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements
  • Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across site and office teams
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands across multiple sites
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WHS reporting systems
