Key Responsibilities
- Manage grid connection applications for new developments
- Engage with transmission and distribution network operators
- Support long-term energy procurement and power supply strategy
- Work on PPAs, renewable energy agreements, and firming solutions
- Analyse electricity markets, tariffs, and infrastructure constraints
- Support energy optimisation initiatives across operational assets
- Coordinate with development, engineering, construction, and ESG teams
- Assess power availability and infrastructure risk for future sites
- Experience within utilities, energy markets, renewables, infrastructure, or large industrial power users
- Strong understanding of Australian electricity markets and grid connection processes
- Experience engaging with network operators and energy stakeholders
- Exposure to energy procurement, transmission planning, or infrastructure strategy
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management capability
- Data centres, mining, manufacturing, renewables, or critical infrastructure
- Renewable PPAs and ESG/sustainability initiatives
- Grid connection applications and technical submissions
- Power systems or infrastructure planning environments
