We are currently recruiting for an Overhead Crane Technician – Electrician to join a well-established company servicing overhead crane equipment across mining sites in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities & Experience
- Service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and associated equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across crane systems, controls and components
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Carry out breakdown repairs and fault-finding on-site
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, control systems and electrical components
- Complete maintenance reports and relevant service documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and Australian Standards
- Work autonomously and as part of a team to minimise equipment downtime
- A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Previous overhead crane experience
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights
- Driver’s Licence
- Ability to complete FIFO work from Perth
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing and maintaining overhead cranes
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Available to commit to a FIFO 2:1 roster
