We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established commercial builder delivering a new build school project.

This is an 18-24 month contract opportunity offering long term project stability, accommodation provided and LAFHA available for eligible candidates.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing site-based construction activities from start to finish
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
• Driving programme and short-term planning activities
• Managing site safety, quality and compliance requirements
• Conducting toolbox talks, site inspections and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Working closely with the Project Manager to achieve key project milestones
• Maintaining strong stakeholder and client relationships on site

About You
To be considered, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
• Experience delivering education, government, health, community or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of site safety, quality and programme management
• Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills
• Trade or tertiary construction qualifications highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights
