About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Finishes Foreman to join a site team delivering a landmark residential project in Brisbane.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will take ownership of the finishes stage of the project, coordinating trades and subcontractors while ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.
This would suit someone who is hands-on, organised and takes genuine pride in delivering a high-quality finished product.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of finishes across your area of the project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
- Plan and organise daily site activities to maintain programme.
- Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address defects or issues as they arise.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant building codes, safety requirements and project specifications.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and broader project team.
- Identify and resolve construction issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.
- Provide leadership, direction and support to site personnel and subcontractors.
- 5+ years' experience as a Foreman / Site Foreman within the building and construction industry.
- Strong experience managing finishes and coordinating multiple trades.
- Trade qualification or Construction Management qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, quality control and site safety.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- White Card and current driver's licence.
- Immediate availability preferred.
