Morson Edge are currently seeking experienced welders for site-based work in the Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive rates and immediate starts available.

• $60/hr 
• Ongoing site-based work
• 50+ hrs per week
• Work on one of Sydney's landmark projects

Key Responsibilities

• TIG weld stainless steel pipework to project specifications and welding procedures.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, welding procedures and fabrication plans.
• Complete pipe fit-up, alignment and tack welding prior to final welds.
• Prepare pipe and joints through cutting, grinding, cleaning and edge preparation.
• Perform high-quality welds in various positions while maintaining required standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify defects, contamination or weld inconsistencies.
• Follow WHS procedures, hot-work requirements and site safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel pipe.
• Construction or industrial project experience.
• Pipefitting experience.
• Relevant welding qualifications/trade certificate preferred.
• White Card.
• Working at Heights and EWP ticket beneficial.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and welding specifications.
