Graduate Engineer/Construction Management - BESS Project 12-Month Contract | Site-Based | Near Canberra

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer or Graduate Construction Management Graduate to support the delivery of a large-scale renewable energy project from construction through to commissioning.
Working closely with the Project Engineers and Site Management team, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience across project engineering, quality assurance, document control, reporting and construction delivery.

About the Role This is a site-based role where you will provide engineering and project support to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Engineers with the coordination and delivery of daily construction activities
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Prepare, review and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation and inspection records
- Manage document control, ensuring engineering documents, revisions and project records are accurate and up to date
- Support the management of RFIs, NCRs, technical queries, handover documentation and project registers
- Maintain project documentation and reporting using Procore
- Assist with daily, weekly and monthly project reporting, progress tracking and productivity reporting
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor construction progress against the project schedule
- Participate in site inspections, quality walk-downs and completion activities
- Promote compliance with project safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar) or Construction Management
- Previous experience using Procore is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of construction quality processes, document control and project reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- 12-month contract on a landmark BESS project
