Hours: Monday to Friday | 2:00pm – 10:00pm (38-hour week)
Pay: $109,200 + Super + overtime available
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing site based in Roselands.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery to ensure minimal downtime across the site. Working within a small maintenance team, you’ll carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement work across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance (PM) on production and packaging equipment
- Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response during production shifts
- Repairs and maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
- Assisting with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Maintaining maintenance records and ensuring equipment reliability
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit maintenance team
- Salary package of $109,200 + Super + Penalties
- Stable Monday to Friday afternoon shift (2pm–10pm)
- Overtime available on weekends during production runs

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical trade background
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or packaging environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated machinery
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Basic electrical understanding or exposure to automated equipment highly regarded
