This role will be across multiple live projects, supporting the finishing and post-completion stages, ensuring a high standard of handover and defect resolution on design-driven residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage defects, aftercare, and finishing works across multiple Class 2 residential projects from handover through to final completion
- Carry out site inspections, identify defects, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely close-out of outstanding items
- Work closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to track and drive defect rectification programs across multiple sites
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure all works meet design intent and Australian Standards
- Assist with finishing-stage coordination where required, including practical onsite works and trade support
- Maintain accurate defect registers, QA documentation, and reporting using Procore or similar systems
- Ensure all works comply with WHS requirements, site safety standards, and relevant construction tolerances
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in defects, aftercare, or finishing-stage roles
- Strong carpentry background essential
- Proven experience on Class 2 residential apartment projects
- Open to candidates from a finishes foreman or site-based finishing background
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
- Comfortable working on the tools when required
- Strong communication and coordination skills across site teams and subcontractors
