This role sits across both design and pre-construction, with a focus on reviewing hydraulic drawings, ensuring accuracy, and aligning design outcomes with project scope and budgets. It will suit someone who enjoys the technical side of hydraulics but also has a strong commercial mindset.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate hydraulic designs and models across multiple projects
- Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and aligned with Australian standards
- Cross-check drawings against project scope, methodology, and budgets
- Support estimating and tendering activities with technical input
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from design through to delivery
- Background in hydraulic design, plumbing, or building services
- Experience across design and/or estimating
- Strong understanding of Australian standards and construction practices
- Ability to identify design discrepancies and cost risks
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities
- Salary up to $170k + super (depending on experience)
