My Client is a trusted partner in delivering innovative, reliable, and tailored electrical solutions across the industrial, construction and commercial D&C space. With decades of combined experience, their team of skilled electricians specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex electrical systems that power some of Australia’s most demanding industrial environments. 

They are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. The role will focus predominantly on working on providing technical knowledge to the team and meet with clients.

Duties 

• Effectively plan and undertake the daily engineering activities.
• Assist the design team in an efficient, productive and compliant manner.
• Produce reticulation Designs / mark ups based on cable requirements. 
• Produce Cable Schedules & Single line diagrams.
• Produce circuiting on general power and lighting plans.
• Assist Estimating team with prelim design requirements.
• Review and provide input on switchboard drawings and equipment selection.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar design Engineer within the industrial sector
• MUST have worked for an Electrical Contractor within Australia.
• NER Registered is advantageous.
• Proficient in BlueBeam, PowerCAD & Microsoft Office (Excel, Work & Outlook).
• Proficient in AutoCAD & AGI32 is Advantageous. 
• Have a good understanding of Design & Construct Projects.
• Work in a team environment.
