About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery of a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in regional South Australia. This is a boots-on-the-ground role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and
communication across construction, HSE, quality, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site construction activities for the principal contractor.
- Oversee site safety, quality, and schedule, reporting to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, plant, and logistics.
- Support commissioning activities and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing utility-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
- Trade or engineering background preferred.
- Confident leading subcontractors and engaging with clients and consultants.
- Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ability to live and work regionally in South Australia during the project.
- Immediate start on a high-profile renewable energy project.
- Opportunity to work client side.

- Monday to Friday site-based role (some flexibility may be considered).
