My client is a Top Tier 2 Builder operating across nationally across Australia.
They deliver projects across the commercial, industrial, education, retail, residential & government sectors. Average project values range from $50M-$200m across all sectors.
The Role
The successful Senior Contact Administrator will be responsible for delivering a $100M new build project located in Western Sydney.
The successful candidate will lead a team delivering the project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with the administrative functions of projects in accordance to the company’s management systems, client’s requirements, contractual requirements and specifications and associated documentation
- Ensure that clients expectations in terms of the project quality, time & budget are delivered
- Meet target budget lettings for subcontractor packages
- Tender packages cover full scope
- Viewpoint input to be accurate and completed on time
- Subcontractor information received and processed
- Progress claims and variations paid on time
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience ideally with a builder
- Strong negotiations skills & have the ability to build subcontractor relationships
- Understand scope of works and identify missing items
- Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Knowledge of building principles & construction
- Experience of head contracts / notices, EOT etc
- Management of subcontractors leading the full procurement process
- Well established builder with long standing history & great reputation
